Experience
I began my career in both public and private accounting before transitioning to a client-facing role as a financial advisor. I spent a three-year tenure at a brokerage firm in Peoria and joined DVI 2021 where I continue to deepen my expertise in strategic financial guidance. Outside my professional role, I am actively involved with Wildlife Prairie Park. I serve on its Board of Directors, chair the Recreation Committee, and participate on the Finance Committee.

Tell us about your career journey and what led you to choose DVI:
For a significant portion of my life, I pursued a career in professional baseball, an endeavor notorious for its low success rate. I honed the values of efficiency, consistency, and unwavering dedication during this time, and all three are critical to my role as a Relationship Manager. Becoming a parent in recent years has also profoundly influenced my approach to this work. While the data offers essential insights to wealth management, I think I have a deeper understanding of how emotional components and family dynamics should inform a client’s financial plan.
I chose DVI because above all else, the firm puts the clients’ best interests first, and exceptional client service is paramount. Each client brings a unique story and set of financial challenges, and I appreciate that every narrative is different. The most rewarding part of being a Relationship Manager is getting to know clients on a personal level and earning their trust over our time working together..
What is your favorite thing about the Peoria area?
Greater Peoria embraces all entities, from non-profits to large corporations, while maintaining a comforting, small-town atmosphere. My wife and I chose to raise our daughters here because we appreciate its rich history and are excited by the community’s entrepreneurial spirit and untapped potential, not to mention the convenience of finding almost anything within a 10–20-minute radius.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I’m a particularly enthusiastic father of two daughters and love spending time with them going for walks (especially at Wildlife Prairie Park), working on puzzles, and making art projects together. My wife and I like taking family trips to visit family in Minnesota and Wisconsin. We also prioritize giving back to the community through volunteering when we can, and I currently sit on the board of Wildlife Prairie Park. I still have a competitive—some may say too competitive!—spirit and love to play golf, baseball, and volleyball when I can.
