As Chairman, President, and CEO of DVI, Will has been a driving force behind the firm’s evolution into a premier wealth management organization. With over three decades of experience at DVI, Will leads with purpose, integrity, and a relentless commitment to continuous improvement.
Will joined DVI in 1990 after beginning his career as a proprietary trader and economic analyst at a respected local investment firm. His early roles spanned every core function of the business—compliance, operations, accounting, trading, portfolio management, and research—giving him an unmatched, ground-up perspective of the investment advisory world. That foundational experience continues to inform his leadership and strategic vision today.
Inspired early in life by DVI’s founder, David Vaughan, Will was drawn to a mission-driven approach to wealth management: one that marries intellectual rigor with a deep sense of responsibility to clients and community. He became a Partner in the firm and assumed its most senior leadership roles with a clear focus—to preserve DVI’s core values while fostering innovation, growth, and long-term value for clients.
Will holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Denison University and an MBA from Bradley University. His professional values—hard work, perseverance, long-term thinking, and gratitude—mirror his personal passions.
Outside the office, Will enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fly fishing, and skiing, as well as reading and listening to music. He cherishes time with his wife and daughter and credits much of his personal and professional success to the mentorship and wisdom of lifelong friends, many of whom were decades his senior and helped shape his worldview.

Known for his integrity, precision, and steady leadership, Todd sets high standards for himself and fosters a culture of excellence within his team. Todd’s investment philosophy is rooted in values learned early in life. His professional journey began at age 13, working alongside his father in the family’s appliance repair and refrigeration business. This mindset—paired with relentless focus and a commitment to integrity—has been a throughline in Todd’s work.
His financial career formally began in 1988 at a prominent Peoria manufacturing company, where he started in cash management before transitioning to its newly established internal investment management division in 1992.
